Review and credits after the jump!
I’m showing today a very long trench coat by Swaffette Firefly for “SF Design.” It’s done with a single jacket layer as a basis, plus a bunch of attachments, all resizable by script, menu driven, for the best user comfort. In the pack, nearby the jacket layer, you will get: a collar in three versions (pre-sized small, pre-sized large, pre-sized large with preset attachment to the chest (others are attached to the spine, which works better IMHO - note that you can change yourself your attachment points, but you are forced to reposition the attachments. Swaffette flatters the lazy in you!), a pair of cuffs (in two pre-sized versions), a pair of shoulder straps (in two pre-sized versions), and, last but not least, a loose flexi lower part in two builds, one regular and one fitted for slimmer avatars. Beginners will be happy with the preset sizes offered which will fit many avatars, and advanced users (or detail freaks like me) will be able to adjust precisely the size of their attachment using the script.
The texture work is great. Almost totally hand drawn, it gives in a 2D texture the impression of the thickness of the fabric. Prim attachment textures mix very well with the jacket layer one which is, believe me, the result of hours and hours of work. Sure, dark tones are easier to match, but i’m lucky to have seen a prototype of a light grey version of this trench, and i can tell you the matching is great as well with lighter tones! Note that I didn’t show you the provided collar, because i wanted the Aitui’s scarf for this outfit, but it looks good as well. When I tell you this great garment can be yours for only 200 Lindens, you will certainly run to get it!
Quality: 4/5 - Style-Originality: 3.5/5 - Usability (different layers for each item, modify perms, amount of outfits put together with a single pack, sizes for attachments…): 3/5 - Price: 5/5 - Value for money: 4.5/5
Swaffette Fifrefly provides, without any Customer service representative, one of the most caring and nice customer service! It has become rare nowadays.
Also showing: an original pair of pants, with a snake skin print pattern, from “Muism,” a delicate purple (and inexpensive) shirt from “Style Starts Here” (comes very conveniently on every possible layer), one of my favorite rings from “Guillaume pour homme,” the now classic casual loafers from “Redgrave,” a perfectly fitting and nicely textured sculpty scarf from “Aitui,” and a nice short hair from “Exile,” whose creator has really been generous with men’s creations lately! Enjoy!
