Review and credits after the jump!

If looking like a bloody mess is what you’re after, the “Hurt” outfit from Dinzeo Designs should fit the bill. Torn to shreds from some unspoken altercation, a bloodstained shirt and jeans come with gloves (with separate cuffs) and “Sh*t Kicker” boots (which I chose not to show because I didn’t think the quality matched the rest of the outfit, frankly). I substituted instead the futureterror boots from Gutterblood Spoonhammer.

Dinzeo’s outfits are pleasant (if that word can be used regarding “Hurt”) because of the details — the well-drawn collar on the shirt, the realistic fraying on the jeans, the anarchistic design on the included leg hankie (tourniquet? LOL) around the upper thigh (easily adjustable if your av doesn’t have monster thighs, by the way). For a very reasonable price, you can get a wide assortment of looks at Dinzeo Designs. Shirt, pants, shoes and accessories, in a variety of styles. The only regretful thing is that there aren’t a lot of separates available. But really, it’s refreshing to see someone doing such high quality work — good seams, nicely finished collars, well done textures — for such an excellent price.

Quality: 4.5/5 - Style-Originality: 4.5/5 - Usability (different layers, modify perms, amount of outfits put together with a single pack, sizes for attachments…): 3/5 - Price:4/5 - Value for money: 4/5

Little Heaven, possibly my favorite sim ever on SL (although the newly discovered zombies that pursue relentlessly kind of give me the creeps, I have to admit), features some crazy accessories, including a number of AFK animations that really push the envelope (hanging, pierced with arrows, to name a couple). One of these is the “Doping Drug Band,” providing a steady infusion of some unnamed medicinal fluids. When worn with the rolling IV stand, it really does draw attention to your unfortunate avatar.

Philo Sion, designer of ears, tails and various other necessities to complete your “hybrid” look, be it neko, kitsune or whatever, has just released the new “Hybrid Elite” with a new, much more user friendly hud for color-changing and mood altering. There’s nice detail on the wispy tufts of fur, and the anime-inspired hud has whimsical graphics as well as supporting green text that appears in your main chat window. (Non-jewelry version shown here; ears with jewelry are available for another 100L.)

Finishing off today’s look, I chose Philotic Energy’s Enda II in ruby with black tips, some nice dark eyes from Flesh Peddlers, and the sharper-edged Neo skin from Damiani.
