Keth Mommsen (designer behind Eros fashions) offers too rarely new stuff for men. Her attention to details and quality takes time, but it is worth it! Her new seasonal sweaters “Daniel” come in 5 colors (Gray and red - shown - plus green, blue and brown). Each color pack offers two versions of the sweater, with and without a pattern. Jacket and shirt layers are available for both versions (you can wear the shirt layer under the jacket one to give some volume), without forgetting the savvy underpants complement for a tucked look with low rise pants. Nicely textured, they are realistic enough to make you feel their thick wool and hand drawn enough to have a personal look. As usual, items from Eros Fashions by Keth are no copy transfer for easy gifting. It has become rare enough to be mentioned, and although I personally appreciate the copy perm to make outfits folders, it’s great to have the freedom to give away something you don’t wear anymore, or sell it, like in RL. Everything is moddable except the prim collar which is resize scripted. At Eros Fashions, you will always get top notch and respectful customer service!

It’s nice to wear a coat in winter, but SL limitations make things difficult: prim attachments collide with your avatar when you walk, and most coats look good only when you stand in certain poses. Just a few of the available coats are good enough to look decent when you walk, often making them wide on the lower part. All the art of the designer is to keep a cool average shape for the coat within this constraint. That’s not a piece of cake, and very few coats IMHO are really wearable (i.e., not looking too bad when you move). This new leather coat from Adam n Eve is one of them. “Male Trench” comes with a jacket layer, a bottom flexi part, two cuffs for the sleeves, and a collar. Everything is moddable for the best fitting. Note that you can’t shrink the lower part much, due to a tiny prim in it (SL doesn’t allow prim to be smaller than a certain size, unless you use some tricks). You’ll have to edit linked parts or, better, send a copy of your shape to the maker for a custom fitting, if your avatar is part of the “small and prim edit impaired” category. I like the sober cut of this trench, the simplicity of its belt showing a neat sculpted buckle. The worn looking texture is pleasant. 6 colors are available: Black, Charcoal, Red, Green, Blue and Brown (shown.)

Just a word about the new version of the famous “Carl Perkins” shoes by Eponymous Trenchmouth for JCS. Epy didn’t only add a very cool resize script in them (one of the best script I’ve seen, without the anxiogen “this prim-all prims” choice in it), but he redid the shape and refined their textures. They look less wide now, and still fit the wide fat feet LL has offered to the poor men. Black, Blue, Brown, Chamois, Putty (a nice beige that is not yellowish!), Wine, White, Grey are the available colors. You can have them in no copy transfer version for easy gifting, or in copy no transfer version (on the On rez vendor in the main shop). Offering the choice is the best thing to do! I won’t forget to tell you that Eponymous offers one of the most kind and efficient customer service in sl.
