Zero Number Wo Woots boots in Gomi & Black.

New boots at “Zero Number” - Mai Runo, who made the first high quality sculpted boots in SL, didn’t release anything for a little while. She now offers a new pair of boots in two colors, a nice addition to her small but great range. “Wo Woots” boots come in two parts, calf and feet. You can wear the foot part only when you wear long pants; they look great that way, too; or with calves and pants tucked in the boots. You can see both options in both colors above. These boots look great, with a worn flair that made them very familiar and pleasant to wear. The texture and build details are very nice and precise. I have to mention that the boots are modify, like the former creation of Mai, plus they offer a resize script that makes the boots really easy to adjust. Note that you always have to set your foot size to zero, then adjust the boots to fit your avatar size. Men’s feet in sl are wide and big, so you will need to increase their size by at least 20% to hide your feet, even set to zero (these boots are unisex). They are copy no transfer and sell for 500 Lindens per color.

Indi Designs “Elijah”, in Brown & in Black.

Indi Designs “Elijah”,2 of the offered options, with a scarf instead of a collar, and with a T-Shirt instead of a Tank Top.

New outfit at “Indi Designs” - Jamie Holmer creates under the brand “Indi Designs” a ton of complete outfits and accessories, in many different styles, nicely done and at sweet prices. Today I’m showing “Elijah”, a cool ensemble with many options, which comes in two colors — black and brown (see above).

In each color pack, you will get: On the jacket layer: a combo coat, vest and tank top (shown on the main composite); a combo coat, vest and T-Shirt (shown above); a combo vest and T-Shirt; an untucked T-Shirt; an untucked tank-top; and a coat alone. On the shirt layer, you will get: a T-shirt, a tank-top, and a combo vest plus T-shirt. Plus, a pair of very used and torn jeans, a pair of short pants on the underpants layer, and a pair of socks. Phew! But wait, there’s more! Attachments now: two presized cuffs for the coat, two presized collars for the coat, two presized bottom parts for the coat, a scarf in two sizes as well (replacing the collar when worn with the coat). Note that everything is moddable for a perfect fit. You can build several looks with all these components. I’ve shown you three possibilities, but you can play with the layers and get rid of the vest, or wear the T-shirt or tank-top alone, tucked or untucked. You get at least 9 looks with a single pack, not counting the scarves/collar add-on options. That’s what I call generous, especially when it’s sold at such a low price. Because I’m a detail freak, I just miss a lower complement for the T-Shirt/tank-top, useful if you wanted to wear different pants than the high waist pair provided. That would be really great to have, because you could enjoy a totally different look, more classy, with different, less “used” pants. But since many of them are low rise, you couldn’t enjoy the whole bunch of options Elijah’s packs offer.

Quality wise, you will get satisfaction, too. Textures are nicely drawn, seams are neat, collar finish is perfectly clear, pants don’t show the jagged bottom bug (beware though, some older outfits from “Indi Designs” aren’t updated to avoid this bug; if you have a problem, ask Jamie Holmer, she will help you very kindly.)

You know what? I’m just ashamed I didn’t show “Indi Designs” creations earlier!

Also wearing: one Stacked Chains Rings from “Guillaume pour homme,” and one more hair from “Madesigns Hair,” worn on an Asian looking skin from Lelutka (new name of Minnu Model Skins), “Beijing,” which is really worth a look.

Enjoy!

  2. hi, those boots look great, that’s right, but i totally disagree wot with the “easy-to-use” resize script — it’s awkward n complicated to use, n i don’t see the point in learning specific techniques which r more than superficial in this direction. i feel i have wasted 500ld on a nice product but partly crummy execution. i expect an easy to use product, nothing that drives me up the wall. a pity!
