Reviews and Credits after the jump!

Suit by “Eros Fashions by Keth” - This new suit from Keth Mommsen, “Maximilion Suit - Slim Fit,” offers some features that make it noticeable, so it’s not just another black suit. First, it is hand drawn, which gives it a special flair. Hand drawn, but with a science of shadowing and highlighting that brings details to life, like these lapels and buttons that LOOK really 3D on a 2D texture. No need to add prim attachments to get such effect! With this “slim fit” version, Keth offers an attachment designed to hide the wedgy look on the rear part of the suit. It looks really great after you’ve tweaked it to fit your avatar, adding some realism, even when you sit.

Another interesting feature is the shirt and tie drawn on different layers, both tintable, which allow you to create your own colors according to your need. For example, I kept the shirt white but tinted the tie to match the golden accents of the JCS shoes I’m wearing. What is very clever is, the shirt is on the shirt layer, allowing you to tweak the sleeve looseness for example, while the tie is on the undershirt layer, showing through an alpha area on the shirt. Sure you can’t wear the shirt without the tie, but you can create an infinity of looks playing with colors. I have to say I just adore when content creators in SL leave their customer enjoying the opportunity to express their own creativity! Maybe it’s just respect toward customers?

At last, this suit is Transfer, which is not my own taste, but I have to admit it’s cool to do what you want with something you bought: give it away, hand it to a friend for a day, sell it or whatever.

Maximilion comes also in a version with flexi lower part. I know some will prefer this one, but I stick with the “Slim fit” and its very clever anti-wedgy attachment!

Quality: 4.5/5 - Style-Originality: 3.5/5 - Usability (different layers, modify perms, amount of outfits put together with a single pack): 4.5/5 - Price: 3.5/5 - Value for money: 4/5

Also showing: in the latest series of formal shoes from “JCS” “LdeV Ambasciatore,” offering golden accents, a dark ring from Dahlinks, a skin from “LeLutka,” and, to add a bit of personality to the outfit, I chose a hair from “Madesigns Hair” with a rebel touch.

  2. Thanks for the gracious review Ben. What people may not know is that Ben is also generous with his feedback to designers prior to any releases in the metaverse. Also, websites like this help designers have a dialogue with customers so we can understand what men are looking for in the metaverse!

BTW, I love the shoes! I’m always getting asked about high quality men’s shoes - now I have another designer I can refer them to!
