Lissa Maertens for “Cattivo” offers us her new “The Englishman” suit. This very good obsidian suit comes with a full collection of elements.
Jackets first, you will find 4 of them in the pack, open and closed, with or without skirt component for the lower part: this way, everyone should find a jacket to suit his needs and his avatar shape.
[My advice about skirt complement is, for a better fitting, to set your butt around 20-30 . I've said a few days ago that you should have a copy of your shape with the feet set to zero to fit the shoes, maybe you could consider having another one with feet to zero AND butt to 25 to fit the suits with skirt layer for the bottom part of the jacket! One more reason, if needed, to never buy a shape from a shape-maker not customer-conscious enough to sell (often at high prices) no modify shapes.]
Pants: two pairs, one to use as is, another one to use with prim legs for a perfect finish. If you feel uncomfortable with prim attachments, use the regular pair! Thank you, Lissa, for giving us the choice!
Vests: one model in two different length, and a bonus one including a poofer for the sleeves of the jacket you wear over it!
Shirts. I should say orgy of shirts! Eleven shirts with different ties, plus open collar with and without ascot, and closed collar with and without ascot. Not to mention the version to wear with the prim collar that comes in the pack! It’s not over! You also have 4 shirts on the undershirt layer to wear under the vest, buttoned or not, with and without ascot. Well, 21 shirts! I never saw such generosity.
“The Englishman” is absolutely versatile. Wearing it, you could have a modern, classic look, and, using the vest, a retro, more formal look as well. Without the vest and with the ascot, it could even give a casual chic flair.
All the items are modify, no copy, transfer, and the prim attachments are modify, copy, transfer, so you can mess with them as much as you want after a security backup! All is modify means you can be sure you will be able to make your pants fit any shoes you could want, adjust the optional skirt layer of the jacket perfectly, and set the shirt and jacket sliders to be sure the jackets won’t have ugly and unnatural tight sleeves!
The items are nicely designed, with the handdrawn flair I’m more and more attracted by. With this suit, it’s now obvious that Lissa Maertens is not a beginning designer anymore. Her very first items could have some flaws, like all the first items of the big names, believe me, but she evolved a lot.
Certain things remain the same with Lissa, though: she offers a very warm and caring customer service, she is humble enough to take critiques to become better, and down to earth to offer very attractive prices. Yes, all these components are sold for an incredibly low 450 Lindens!
With that “Englishman” suit, Lissa reached the next level. She is a hard worker and i’m sure I will be impressed as well with her next release.
