YAY! New release for men at Dutch Touch! For spring to come, Iki Ikarus offers no less than 3 pairs of jeans, 3 pairs of camo pants (both to be shown very soon), and a huge collection of mesh sweaters and T-Shirts that I’m showing today. Both sweaters and tees come in a myriad of colors (11 colors for the sweaters, 23 for the tees); many of these colors are just unique, some are truly gorgeous, showing Iki’s colorist talent (a talent way too rare in SL…). Even the white T-Shirt, so bright, has something special!

Although tees and sweaters can be worn independently, they play very well worn together, layered. Up to you to mix and match the colors and create your own special mix! I love a designer showing enough consideration to customers allowing them to express their own creativity! Since everything is moddable, you can even tint the items like I did for the main composite, to match the colors of my shoes. Shown below are a few combinations you can do among many, many others.

Left to Right & Top Down:
Mesh Sweater LightGrey (tinted: RGB: 194, 209, 235) & TwoTees Basics - LightBlue (tinted: RGB: 92, 69, 41),
Mesh Sweater Olive & TwoTees Basics - Orange,
Mesh Sweater Petrol & TwoTees Basics - Green,
Mesh Sweater DarkGrey & TwoTees Basics - BabyPink,
Mesh Sweater Blue & TwoTees Basics - White,
Mesh Sweater Lilac & TwoTees Basics - DarkRed

As usual at Dutch Touch, textures are nicely done, with cool details and a perfect finish. The mesh knit pattern of the sweaters shows well, when the tee-shirts are soberly but precisely shadowed. Each item comes on both jacket and shirt layers, with a complement on the underpants layer. In each Tee-shirt pack you will find two versions of them, regular neck and V-Neck collar, plus two sculpted optional cuffs. My sole regret is the lack of undershirt layer option, which would allow you to wear these items mixed in way more outfits, and, when worn together, to wear the long sleeved sweater on the shirt layer, giving a tiny bit of volume to the sleeves, adding the jacket layer for a cool untucked look, leaving the undershirt layer for the tee. It would take a few minutes to create this new layer, without any complementary upload fee for the texture. I really don’t understand why it’s missing!

Each tee-shirt or sweater is sold for a low 100 Lindens so you can buy all your favorites colors without feeling any guilt ;-)

Quality: 5/5 - Style-Originality: 4/5 - Usability (different layers, modify perms, amount of outfits put together with a single pack): 4/5 - Price: 4.5/5 - Value for money: 4.5/5

Samoa sneakers by Hoorenbeek. These new super-realistic sculpted sneakers come in a bunch of color combinations (twenty currently available). They show a nice build and detailed textures. Easy to fit with their resizer script offering 6 preset sizes plus fine tweaking, coming in two versions (male and female, in the same pack), they will please those willing to bring their RL stuff into sl ;-) With their low top cut, they will fit long pants pretty easily. They are sold copy or transfer, your choice, which is the best way to please each and every customer!

Quality: 4/5 - Style-Originality: 3.5/5 - Usability (different layers, modify perms, amount of outfits put together with a single pack…): 3/5 - Price: 2/5 - Value for money: 3.5/5

Also showing:
A pair of pants By Lexi Morgan from Stellar Designs, chosen among her latest spring collection for men, more to be shown very soon! A watch from Gos Elite Watches, showing a great piece of artwork with tiny prims; one of my favorite hair styles from Madesigns; and a preview of the just plain gorgeous new skin from Hart Larsson for PXL Creations, Jude. A post in the new series “SKINPEDIA” is in progress, so stay tuned! More to see next week :-)

  7. Ben, you’re gorgeous. My two fav. colors of those sweaters, on that skin, are the dark grey/baby pink, and the blue/white combos. Actually the olive/orange looks good on that skin too.
