Left to Right & Top Down: Redgrave Aviator Loafers in Black, Black Mix, Mokka, Bronze, Creme, and Grey.

Viola Leigh, the designer behind Redgrave Shoes department, just released a new collection of two models, Aviator, in both Boot and Loafer versions. I chose to show you today the Loafer versions, because I found them particularly easy to fit with long pants. Both models offer nice buckles that make their originality. They come in 6 colors, slightly different for each model.

Viola told me she never put as much time and effort into a pair of shoes, and it shows: nice details and sculpty work, very good texturing with in-depth work on details like buckles and heels. They fit your zero sized feet perfectly, even at reasonable size. No annoying invisiprim under the sole to play bad tricks with alpha textures on the floor, no bit of foot showing thru the leather, what else? well, a resize script PLUS modify perms, allowing tinting to adjust precisely the color tone to any special need.

Quality: 4.5/5 - Style-Originality: 4/5 - Usability (different layers, modify perms, amount of outfits put together with a single pack): 4/5 - Price: 3/5 - Value for money: 4/5

Left to Right & Top Down: Sartoria Silk suit in Black, Brown, Purple and Royal.

I found these Silk suits from Sartoria (Traveller Bade) very cool at first sight. We don’t have that many semi-casual suits on the grid, and these fill totally the market of clubwear or weekend wear, when you want to leave off the tee-shirt you use to wash the car, but don’t need a tuxedo for the formal marriage of one of your pals. They come with a jacket on the jacket layer, a pair of pants on the pants layer, two shirts on the shirt layer, one to wear standalone, one to wear with the optional prim collar (shown). You will also get a pair of shirt cuffs that you could wear over the jacket, for a different look. I didn’t use them for this post, and rather chose to give volume to the jacket with the sliders of the shirt layer (sleeve length, shirt fit and sleeve looseness) and adjusted the length of the sleeves on the jacket layer, thanks to the modify perms.
I’m sure you will enjoy the texture work, showing the shininess of the silk fabric, with a good shadowing work giving realism to the lapel and back flap. You can pick your favorite among 8 colors.

Also showing:
A nice, romantic hair cut from Exile, in my favorite Exile color of the moment, “Eclipse”; a nice ring from MRM Factory, showing a precise tiny prim build. Enjoy!

  4. Great Outfit! This is the second thime I put together a complete outfit as you have described and I’m quite happy with it. The suit is a bit pricey but I was very satisfied once I put it on. This outfit really fits the bill when it comes to something that can be dressy and casual at the same time. I wear mine with the cuffs which I feel gives the whole thing even a little more flair. The shoes are fantastic. I love the all buckles. Thank you for all the work you do!
