Nouveau chez / New at “JCS”

Ben Vanguard | - Tenue/Outfit, Casual, Dressy, Printemps-Eté / Spring-Summer | Friday, March 7th, 2008

There has been yet another amazing release at JCS. Finally, the time is past when we didn’t have much choice in men’s shoes! These “Dublin” shoes are perfectly built and textured, as usual. No sculpty, but classic prims, precisely adjusted. No big balls at your feet for minutes during the laggy days like with the complex sculpty shoes!

You can choose between 6 versions/colors. Slmen’s favorites are Sage, a subtle green in leather and canvas, Crimson, deep dark red with a velvety finish and, last but not least, Black Cherry, made in printed leather, white flowers on a black background, a special request I made ages ago :-D Thank you so much Eponymous Trenchmouth! Also available are brown, black and snake-skin (all shown below). Each pair comes in two sizes, with the option of a “power walk” included. Dublin are no modify, and copy-no transfer or no copy-transfer, according to your needs.
Get your favorite pair for 400 Lindens, or take an everything pack with a 50% off discount. Who could resist? ;-)

Quality: 4.5/5 - Style-Originality: 4.5/5 - Usability (different layers, modify perms, amount of outfits put together with a single pack, sizes for attachments…): 3/5 - Price:3/5 - Value for money: 4/5

  1. I ***LOVE*** the Dublin shoes! Especially, yes, the black cherry.

(And I actually laughed out loud at the front and back pic…brilliant.)

  3. Yes, truly excellent shoes again from JSC. I like the black cherry ones too! That’s the texture from the inside of the Shanghai shoes, isn’t it? Works very well on the outside too :D

One thing I’m wondering about, what up with the not giving details on Armidi stuff? I’ve noticed that a few times now, and also see now that you don’t tag them. If they don’t permit detailed blogging on their stuff - which, in my opinion, would be silly, because it’s great for business to be reviewed on a well-read blog -, then why give them any free publicity at all? Personally, I don’t really like their business/advertising tactics. It could be that you feel the same way, and don’t want to give them too much attention. But, again, why do you show their stuff then? Wouldn’t it be better to just use something else? SL has plenty of great designers, and you seem to be very well aware of most of them!

Well, I’m coming up with all kinds of explanations here, but of course only you can give those. So - why?

  4. WHY oh WHY those people never ever offer these flat ankle boots for FEMALES?! I am soooo tired of seeing diva high heeled sculpty shoes all over SL. Not that they are no good, they are gorgeous, but not all of us want to wear that. I would SO wear those boots, tho! Note to the designer: either make them “modify” or then make a size 0 for girls, DO EEEET NOOOOW OR PERISH. hahahaha. XD
