Slmen – How Men Dress in Second Life ®

Well, I swear it’s not an obsession, I’m showing today some more Japanese creations!
AIR Winx for “Argrace” offers us these brand new interesting hoodies plus complementary down jacket in two packs, “Black” and “Gray&White”, each including a tucked (shirt layer and underpants layer) and untucked version (jacket layer) of the hoodie, two presized hoods, and two versions of the down jacket on the jacket layer, alone and including the hoodie under it.
Everything is moddable and no copy-transfer. You will see on the second composite the many possibilities you have with each pack.
The jeans shown are a freebie you can get in the shop, with a cap and a sweater!

To go along with this hoodie and jacket, I chose the very good “Akeyo” Sneakers from Arto Magneto and Akemi Yoshikawa, in their colored version this time, and some cool hair from Tag Mulligan for “Color Me Couture.” Enjoy!

I love the futuristic look of this outfit, and particularly the fabric’s textures. Beyond doubt, Raven Pennyfeather has a talent for texturing. I’m less enthusiastic about the prim work, especially the shoes. Seeing what the amazing shoemakers we have in sl do, I have become very demanding!

Everything is no-copy/transfer, Prim attachments are moddable except for the boots, the pieces of clothing are no moddable except for the pants.

New ankle boots at JCS Shoes! Eponymous Trenchmouth offers you each time more accomplished items. He knows like no other how to work no sculpty shoes. The textures are, as usual, perfectly drawn and the build, different from left to right for a better realism, is absolutely precise. Tete a Pied just opened a new sim. Gorgeous build, plenty of space to show their work. For the occasion, Roslin Petion and CJ Carnot give away a free suit for men. You could find it in the train, behind a crate. Is there a sneak preview of a future collection for men? I hope so! I love the texture! The suit parts are no-modify. Well, as you know, I hate no modify items, and i think no-modify pants are a total no-no, so i never show them on slmen. But this is a freebie… Plus, fortunately, the pants were set loose enough to fit the shoes. So i made an exception, for this time only
I show you Vivant, skin for men, in the new “Late shift” version. Even the name of it is way more evocative than a simple “stubble”!

New black and white skin at Tête à Pied! Roslin Petion and CJ Carnot released this special edition in black and white, in 3 facial hair options plus the “mature” version. Each comes in hairy or bald in the same package. You can get them, as usual, for a low 500 Lindens.

New men’s hair at “The Good Life”! Avant Scofield offers us this hair in 24 very good textures. He used a new alpha texture, to give it a real choppy look. Obviously, today I show it to you in black!

When you need a refreshing shopping journey, there is nothing better than an exploration of some Japanese sims! Japanese designers offer truly original items, some at incredibly low prices! My last expedition was inspired by a reader, Domch Raymaker, who sent me pictures of the jacket from risey Arai for “Sey” that I show you today. Thank you very much Domch!
The jacket comes in 6 colors (5 shown plus blue). The jacket layer is completed with many prim attachments: collar, hood (2 sizes), belt, cuffs, arm pockets (2 sizes). The cuffs, belt and collar are moddable, everything is copy-no transfer. You can pick the color of your choice for 300 Lindens.

To go along with this jacket, I chose leather pants from El Trebol (Feliz Krasner), boots from Zero Number (Mai Runo), and hair from Hayate hair Lab (Hayate Ewing). Faithful readers have already seen items from these brands on slmen.

Also introducing interesting sunglasses from Youki Rau for Ottico. This brand offers tons of glasses and shades in a wide variety of styles, from (almost) classic to futuristic models.
