Okay, we all know there are lots of jeans to be found in Second Life, and it’s easy to argue that no more are needed, but when there’s something unique about a usually common piece of clothing, I think an exception can be made. These jeans from Kalrau are *ahem* very nicely shaded, with a quilted texture at the knees. They come in a belted and unbelted version, with small, medium and large versions of both a closed and open prim belt. I chose open to show here. It was fairly easy to position to look natural, but maybe a prim left and prim right section of the belt would allow for more variation in avatar size. I love this idea, I have to admit. I think it’s fun and, depending on where you are, could be a real conversation starter!
Quality: 4.5/5 - Style-Originality: 3.5/5 - Usability (different layers, modify perms, amount of outfits put together with a single pack, sizes for attachments…): 3/5 - Price:2/5 - Value for money: 3/5
With the black jeans, I chose this 1957 Dublin jacket from Style Starts Here. This shop continues to be a real goldmine for inexpensive, multi-layer clothing, with a great selection of men’s stuff. Worn as the shirt layer with the waistband on the underpants layer, I was able to show off the prim belt. Simone always does a nice job with shading and detail, and there’s so much to choose from at SSH. Take a look and round out your wardrobe with good basics to mix and match.

Rounding out this outfit is the sharp Sun’s Gate watch from Fim Fischer, the recently featured AKIDAZ shoes from Akeyo, and Muse hair in black from Defectiva.
Enjoy!
