Dinzeo Designs recently released this nicely textured argyle sweater hoodie, featuring sculpty attachments for hood, cuffs, front pockets and waistband. I’m not usually thrilled with hoodie cuffs or pockets, but I like these for a couple of reasons. First, the waistband (easily adjustable, by the way) has a stretched out look to it that makes it look more natural and realistic to me. Second, the texture of the front pockets reminds me of those soft leather patches you sometimes see on the elbows of jackets. I also like the kind of attention to detail like the ends on the hoodie ties. (This might be picky, but I’d almost like an eyelet where the tie enters the fabric of the hood to give it a nicer finish that matches the rest of the sweater design.) It’s interesting to note that the only thing photosourced on this sweater is the zipper! An excellent example of handdrawn SL fashion.
Completing this ensemble from Dinzeo is a pair of jeans, with a baggy wrinkled effect, highlighted with sculpty side pockets. Good seamwork and shading, and an interesting pairing of photosourced work with the handdrawn sweater. You get both the sweater and jeans for only 200 Lindens!

Akeyo really are masterful at sneakers, and these new AKIDAZ are well done as expected, with the trademark untied laces, and the ease of changing color by script. The nice part is being able to change the color of all the shoe parts. (I wasn’t real adventurous here and went with black, grey and white, but know there are many color choices, in any number of combinations, each shoe colored individually….GO WILD.)

I complemented this outfit with the Silver Surfy Wave Pendant from Studio Sidhe, a black enameled silver pendant with a simple wave motif, and the Kavi Poet Ring from Mhaijik Guillaume.
Enjoy!

I didn’t know “Dinzeo Designs,” run by Devon Dinzeo, until a few days ago. This designer, who used to be a builder for 4 years with another avatar, now creates great quality clothing at more than fair prices.
I bought this “Dooger” outfit, and I must say I was impressed with the quality of the items I found in the package for a mere 175 Lindens! A pair of low waist brown pants (on the pants layer), a black sweater (on the jacket layer), a sleeve filler on the shirt layer (which can be used as a tucked sweater with high rise pants), plus a sculpted turtleneck and a sculpted beret (not shown). Everything is modify and transfer.
The textures are really good: the pants show nice creases and the sweater is perfectly highlighted; everything is done using the best practices: neat collar zone finish for the sweater (often a weak point) and no jagged bottom bug for the pants. All I can do is to advise you to visit the shop, to discover a short but already interesting collection (complete outfits and separates), at sweet prices!

Also showing the very good “Kicks II” sneakers from “FNKY!,” a new hair from “Boon,” and a bag from “Valiant.” Enjoy!
