Nouveau chez / New At: “Dutch Touch” & “Guillaume pour homme”
Since her last release for men, I regularly bugged Iki Ikarus, the designer behind Dutch Touch, to ask her news about when the next men’s stuff would be coming out! I knew she was pretty busy with her new “M * A * ii * K * I” brand for women. But patience is always rewarded, and I’m glad to show you today the new series of plaid shirts, matching long sleeved tees and pants from Dutch Touch!
Iki offers these shirts (jacket layer) with her personal touch, working the fabric in a bias way. The long sleeved tees (undershirt layer plus complement on the underpants layer) are carefully tinted to match the shirts’s rich colors, and the pants (pants layer) offer a really original cut which is a good alternative to common jeans!
For each item needing it, “modify” perm is given (pants and long sleeved pieces). Short sleeved shirts aren’t “modify,” but as it’s useless in that case, we don’t need it.
Iki sells them in several packs, priced from 250 to 285 lindens, depending on the number of items inside. They all include at least a pair of pants, a tee and a shirt.
Also available is a fat pack of shirts offering 16 shirts (including the ones included in the packs) and a dark grey Tee-Shirt, for 385 lindens. I just miss the pants sold as separates, and I wish Iki offered alternative layers for her creations.
As usual, the textures are top notch and Iki’s talent at coloring makes a real difference with usual men’s creations. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did!
Quality: 4.5/5 - Style-Originality: 4/5 - Usability (different layers for each item, modify perms, amount of outfits put together with a single pack, sizes for attachments…): 2.5/5 - Price: 3.5/5 - Value for money: 4/5

Introducing one of the new bracelets from the new men’s collection by Mhaijik Guillaume for “Guillaume pour homme”. Lets listen to Mhaijik about it:
“In my RL I love ‘found objects’ , bits of glass, beads, twists of metal. I often see small things of interest when walking along a pebbled path, bending down to pick them up, pocketing for use later on in a sculpture or some creation. Creating interplay between light, glass, and metals. They resonate with my whims and moods.
For my SL Found Objects collection I have spent many hours finding and making my textures. I took my glass bottle collection from their niches, outside to be ‘shot’ in the sun. Pictures captured and squared up into pixels then uploaded. Many more hours were spent playing with small sculpty shapes and texture colours, assembling an assortment to pick and choose from as in RL I would to make my creations. Hours playing with the shapes and colours ‘in the sand’ to find harmonious happy combinations. Move this, tweak this, stretch this, place here, step back…. I chose leather, cord and soft rope to hold these small wearable sculptures, turning them into unique and imaginative bracelets. The permissions set to Mod allow them to be stretched into an ankle bracelet or even to wear as a collar type necklace. As always permission is set to Transfer to allow easy gifting.
Eternally I am open to requests and try to exemplify ideal customer service. My jewelry is designed and crafted to fit very well, though I always respond to custom sizing requests when needed. I am proud to not have a “Do not IM me” in my profile.”
“Found objects” bracelets sell for 100 to 200 lindens, following their complexity. See picture of the nine pieces available below the cut!
